Fri 12/13 : I finally beat the other game and turned it off I promise... I should have lots of time to prepare v1.0.1 and get it out the door this weekend, I have a new branch for the first major new feature started too... I am guessing v1.1.0 will include that some time after new years.

Sat 12/7 : 1.0.1 is in progress, I may allow 2 weeks for this update, as I am at Aquilo trying to get a base started... productivity might return if I ever finish this playthrough rofl. Updates so far are minor, but at least one bug fix, so I won't let it lie for long... they are also leaning towards backend changes and setup for future plans, code cleanup that won't have any immediate effect on app functionality (we hope right!).

I said no roadmap, and yet I am low on "little things", so it may be time for larger additions, which may not fit in 2-week sprints or whatever this process is... I started working on more complex git processes than I was using until now. If I start a JIRA system for this, we may have to reconsider how "fun" this project is rofl.... ;)

I have specific notes for a couple of major new features, a gameplay mode and a customization, both with potentially much work/content to create... more to come soon!

v1.0.0 Notes : Official Release

This version will be posted on Steam as soon as Mobile Reviews are passed. Now even more official than ever, this is 1.0.0, this is everything I imagined the game would be at release, and more. I still have lots more ideas to work on in the coming months, no preset roadmaps or anything, I will add and improve as I feel necessary... I know my main save game has a lot of coins I'd like to find an extended use for. There's also still a lot of room on the Customize menu...

More updates to come soon as time and Factorio allow!

v0.9.8 Notes : Slow Rolling Release

v0.9.8 Now LIVE on Android and iOS! 48hr or less until STEAM goes live on v0.9.8! New key art being deployed all over, coming to the app for 1.0 soon!

I saw Achievements work live for the first time tonight in both Google Play Games, and Steam (Mac)!! iOS Game Center Achievement integration is also in place, once that build is live, it should be 3 of 3 stores working for achievements. 2 weeks ago I didn't even realize the mobiles had them, of course they do....

This feels like a major update getting those done, I absolutely intend to support achievements where doable. Godot is not trivial to make them happen in, but they appear to be working out so far. Other initial balance changes come from friends and family playing it for the first time, I knew I would have to make some things easier. I expect I will start thinking about New Features sooner than not, especially with the long weekend following Steam Release Day November 27! Suggestions and hate mail welcome in our inbox anytime!

edit 11/22 my coworkers know i love edits... after waking up to mass rejection T_T we have adjusted our Privacy Policy, awaiting one approval after that... We had sent a fully crashy version for ios, everyone is well aware of my rush pushes without testing right....... ...... ...... After my 3rd round of godot-ios-plugins compilations, I finally got the plugin started, debugged it properly and got my code functioning, 22 existing earned achievements on the ipad on my account now /flex/ And after 3 rounds of internal TestFlight testing, that is up for review too... dinged again for mentioning one in the other, careful pasting those patch notes /eyeroll/ learning the finer details of app submission for sure...

Game Store versions will release simultaneously when both are ready for Achievements!!

v0.9.5 Notes : Initial Release

Welcome to the Official Release of Heal The Survivors! I hope you have as much fun playing the game as I had making it.

This project began last May, I knew right away I had a good idea when this came to mind, and I have worked on it every single day since then, either a little or a lot depending on mood, time available, and excitement level. What you see in 1.0 is everything I expected it to be. As I write this I have been out of notes for a week or more, still finding small things to add or update, but it is ready to release and then some. The forced wait times imposed by various online app stores have given me lots of time to playtest, find bugs, balance and optimize, to my immediate satisfaction anyways.

I plan to keep working on it for at least a few more months, not just publishing/marketing, but support, bugfixes, and maybe some new features as they come to mind or suggestion. Of course the better the response, the more support I will be happy to supply! I have ideas for the "next game", but I plan to follow through on this one as far as it needs it.

You can imagine here in HTS there could be ample room for improvement, content upgrading, and additions in the future, if warranted... I have some notes and ideas, but we will see how things go first. I am one self-published indie dev doing everything himself for this project, next project could involve outside artists and such, possibly.

You are welcome to contact us with reviews, complaints, and bug reports at dev@goodguydev.net

Hope you enjoy the game, now Get to Healing!

v0.9.5 Patch Notes

* The term "Art" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, fair warning.
** Lifetime Stats can be reset in the Options Menu. Do NOT give your little brother your device, make him get his own.
